Welcome to Guruji Sangat Sydney Official website
Satsang Guidelines
Humble request to sangat to please follow the below guidelines when coming to attend Guruji's Satsangs
-
Please maintain absolute silence at all time during the satsang.
-
Please avoid using mobile phones during satsang as this may distract others and will effect your connectivity as well.
-
Please put your phones on silent mode. If it is urgent please go outside the room/hall to use your phone.
-
Kindly remove shoes/slippers in the designated shoe areas only. Please don’t put them haphazardly.
-
As Guruji has always emphasized, even if you don't understand the shabads try to meditate as this is the time to connect with our beloved Guruji.
-
Just meditate and make your direct connection with Guruji and don't talk with other sangat during the satsang.
-
Do not meet and greet sangat during the satsang but only after the satsang.
-
Please ensure that children also maintain absolute silence and do not cause any disturbances or distractions. If a child is crying or talking please ensure that you take your child outside or in other room. Children do get restless and it becomes hard for them to sit for long.
-
Please ensure, children are supervised all the time by their parents. It will be a good idea to ask children to sit and listen to shabads for some time atleast.
-
Please do not bring additional langar in form of sweets, Halwa, namkeen, chutney etc.
-
Please maintain silence while eating Langar Prasad as well.
-
Always finish the entire jal prasad/ chai prasad/langar prasad as it is a form of Guruji's blessings. It will be a good idea to share langar with your child/children.
-
Sangat is requested to occupy spaces in the front section of Guruji's Darbar first so that it becomes easier for the sangat coming later during the day to accommodate themselves.
-
Please follow the seating and other instructions given by the Sewadaars at all time.
-
At Mahasatsangs, sewadaars will be wearing “ Guruji Ka Sewadaar " tags for easy identification. Please do not approach the sewadaars to do/ask for sewa/s.
-
There are timely reminders sent on the group in regards to sewa on Mahasatsangs. Sangat wishing to do sewa is most welcome to forward their names when these notifications are sent.
-
Please do not go inside the kitchen to ask for any sewas.
-
For safety issues, it would be appreciated if children don’t approach the sewadaars or go inside the kitchen to ask/do any sewas.
-
Please do not sit in groups during langar. Sewadaars will organise the seating arrangement and sangat is requested to follow the instructions of the sewadaars.
-
Please maintain silence and do not socialise with your family/friends during satsangs.
-
Sangat bringing their sewas (roti sewa) to the satsangs is requested to hand in the items to the sewadaars standing at the Entrance or to any available sewadaar/s.
